About Us

The first hospital-based midwifery practice in Austin, we provide a naturalistic approach to childbirth and women’s health. With an Ivy-league education, we offer the best of comprehensive obstetric, gynecologic, and surgical care in a setting of respect and compassion. Open to alternative medicine, we take a holistic view of each woman’s life and health, understanding that no one treatment plan will fit all women. Overall, our goal is to educate women about their bodies so that they are empowered to make their own decisions about their healthcare. Meet and Greet the Providers

Meet the providers of ObGyn North and welcome Dr. April Schiemenz to the practice!! Provider Meet and Greet sessions will be held every other month following the NORTH AUSTIN MEDICAL CENTER Hospital Tour which occurs on WEDNESDAYS AT 5:30PM AT WOMEN'S CENTER ENTRANCE. It is open to current patients, potential patients and spouses.
