Liane Miller

Liane MillerLiane began her healthcare career in Canada where she completed her nursing training and quickly found her niche in Womens’ Health. Combining work and travel, Liane was a labor & delivery RN in various places including; Ontario, Germany, Michigan, California, and finally Texas where she met her future husband who was serving in the US military. Their military family grew as they welcomed 2 sons, one born while stationed in Germany and the second was born at home with Certified Nurse-Midwives in California. While stationed in England, she attended Cambridge University and obtained her midwifery diploma. She subsequently completed additional studies at Philadelphia University to become a Certified-Nurse Midwife (CNM) in the US, concurrently obtaining a Master’s Degree in Science. She has since become a part-time faculty at Philadelphia University’s distance midwifery program, supporting other midwives in training across the country. After retiring from the US Air Force, Liane’s family settled in Round Rock in 2001. Liane worked at Fort Hood’s Army Hospital in a busy 16-CNM practice for five years until recently joining OB GYN North’s wonderful team. She is excited to be a part of a supportive, progressive environment that embraces individual’s choices.
